New wheels and tyres

Bought a set of five khumo kl 71 mud terrains off of e bay the other day.
Guy only advertised them as tyres but when I got to pick them up they where mounted on a set of 6 stud jap fitting rims so they bolted straight on:thumbs
Paid him 250 quid for the set:thumb2
Not sure if I like them in black :nenau

Just had to grind off the seam where the sill and wing meet.took about 30 mm off and welded it back together.a bit of trimming on the front bumper and mud flaps.
If I took the wheel spacers off they probably would have fit no problem.

Yes I have got 30mm hubcentric spacers and the off set of the rims make them stick out a little.:thumbs

What are hubcentric spacers when they are at home? I never actually understand offset of wheels either, when I hear people talk about 5J and stuff I'm lost

Hub centric means they fit over the spigot and provide a mirror of the spigot for the wheel to center on.

Offset is how far the wheel sticks out from a given point ( which I think is the center of the rim, but could be wrong lol ) et45 is sticking in 45 mm from said point. Neg - 45 is sticking out 45mm from said point. Et zero means no offset

Thin spacers, remove wheel. Put spacer over center line up holes and refit whee

Fat spacers use bolts to hold them to hub, then wheels get fitted to spacer
