Start of next year ? I bloody hope so :lol I couldn't survive that long without any 4x4 action :naughty

Ok, Davey and Brian, I'm sorry I don't have the bits in front of me where I can just send them off, as said I am waiting for my new suspension to come over (Rob you will just have to wait ;)) and then I'll have to get it all fitted and set up which will include welding and the set up will be difficult so unfortunately I cant be accurate with time. As said though it is definitely all for sale, maybe I shouldn't have put the feelers out so soon but I wasn't expecting the response.

So if ok with you I will check back later when I know more myself to see if you are still interested.

Thanks

Any concerns though guys or any questions or any thoughts feel free to give me a shout no probs :thumb2

The head cracked and I had a lot of niggles with it so that was it.

In it's place is now an r34 Skyline RB25 det neo.

I know of only one other rb25 in a Patrol and that's an r33 in an ultra4 race truck. This might be the only r34 Patrol in the country.

got any nice vids of it in action? or is it still in progress? :naughty

Still very much a work in progress before fully back on the road.

There are lots of bits im waiting on still.

Mr K, I'm not sure what direction you're going in with your new engine... But if its speed and you need to shed some weight, I like the look of your window guards! :augie

I'm going down the impossible route where one does all so to speak.

Don't get me wrong I love the ultra4 trucks and racing buggy's but they are a single purpose, I like a 4x4 to look like a 4x4 and I want mine to be like that but very capable off road. When people do these tray back discovery's and what have you I just don't get it, for me most of them look awful, and like a cut and shut. If you are going to do it you really have to do it properly otherwise they look stupid.

I don't think mine looks right at the moment either, it just doesn't look right to me as it sits with no bumper and wheel arch extensions so I have to change this.

Anyway, after all that ranting I'm not selling the window guards lol :p

Here's my grand design for my trol :sly
Bob tailed , pickup truck style and exo cage :naughty

Do a good job of it Pete (and I know you will) and it will be very nice unique truck. Looking forward to the build thread :D

I get where you're coming from.

When all is said and done I still want mine to look like a 4x4... A Capable one.

Are you thinking down the lines of a 'Sleeper'? (Looks like a standard vehicle from the factory with performance you just wouldn't expect!)

Nah, not for me either. I'm a sucker for looks and this will follow on from where it is now and be pretty in your face :lol

Then I look forward to it.... And taking inspiration from it! :thumb2
