I have 2x calor 4.5KG butane bottles on the boat and at £15 exchange that is expensive.
For the winter season, I swap over to Propane with the correct regulator, but they are only 3.9 kg for about £15

I also have an empty old green vintage 10lb calor bottle that becomes a 4.5 kg bottle after you spray it blue....

Calor said they would exchange it for a later one no probs.

There is a place in Walsall near Junction 10 of M6, that sell full Calor bottles without a deposit. Look on ebay.
