Before you go diving into gearbox issues just check the condition of the clutch pedal bush and assembly.known to crack the spot welds and cause similar issues.:thumb2

That's a good point! My bush had worn right through and changing it made a massive difference :thumb2

I'm sure Rick has advised against adding this in the Terrano :nenau

molyslip is a molybdenum disulfide friction reducer this is good for the gears and bearings but very bad for the clutch cones for each gear, as they rely on friction to syncronise the speed of the first motion shaft with the centre plate of the clutch on it and its related stored energy, Rick

And the damper pipe to the rear f the truck. I've just changed my clutch master cylinder only to discover that the sodding damper pipe was leaking at the rear when I went to bleed it. Couldn't see the leak until it failed completely :sly

Damper pipe cut and sealed. Problem sorted. Could've saved myself £26 though

It would have only needed replacing at some point anyway, at least you know that's new :thumb2

Hey,

I had problems with shifting until I replaced the oil with the original Nissan oil MT-XZ 75W-80. Since then it works much more smoothly, but still the reverse gear is kind of tricky. I was wondering if some gearbox additive like the one from LiquiMoly would help ... I'm kind of sceptical when it comes to "magic" out of a tube for 7,95€
