Your right they don't get to stuck, ive only got myn stuck once towing a cattle trailer out of a boggy field. That was with pirelli scorpion AT's on. Im now on a new set of general grabber at2's and they go through anything, there brilliant.

I would drive a reasonable distance for an offroad day etc , depends where you guys think the middle of the country is.

Where is the best part for lift kit for the mav?

Hi, All I would be up for it:clap still loads to do be for i do real of road work:( as I have moved over to skelton in cleveland:D but would be grate to meet you all:clap

Cant imagine why on earth you would want to move there:rolleyes:.

Big Girls are best they can shove you out of mud when you get stuck:augie

Mmm, I like that idea:lol:augie. Nissan 4x4s, girls, what more can a guy want:cool:

Sorry, forgot to mention the ford maverick too :doh

I was wondering if this could be combined with one of the 'Derbyshire Heather' type events as they seem to be well attended. perhaps a long weekend in the Autumn? Any more ideas on this?

Could be an idea plank

Why don't u throw some lanes together for a route and see who would be interested

Now that's a question! I don't live near Derbyshire and have never been on any of the lanes there, so it would be difficult to do it on my own from here. Are there any other members interested in helping to develope this idea :nenau

does this rally have to involve laning ? , not everyone is up for it ( myself included ) ?

My idea was for som gentle non damaging routes (perhaps something more for the enthusiasts) and finding a decent camping/caravaning venue - maybe a field behind a village halll and hire the hall for a few hours in the evenings? That way proper toilet facilities ane shouldn't be difficult to organise.

A hall would give oportunities for a drink and a chat and maybe other hobby activities for those not wanting to go off road?

First arivals friday afternoon/evening, last departures Sunday afternoon/evening?

sounds good mate :thumb2

just needs a few members in that area to get involved :thumb2

I sometimes use a hall in Astley near Stourport and there is (or was?) an off roading venue close by so it would be possible to do something there but would anyone come if it was in Worcestershire?

Rick's? it's an idea, and Rick would know about off road opportunities etc. and we know a few people would drive down there. maybe have a marquee or big tent to meet in an evening? (subject t Rick agreeing of course!)

BUT! it's a long drive for people from the north of the UK I thought Derby might be more central :nenau

derby would be a grate place not to far from the south or the north. i would go any where as im in the middle any ways :thumb2

we had a rally last year in notts but with limited knowledge of the area it would be hard to arrange a day of laning, peaks would probably be a better place
