Liking the non shouty look TDoug. Big fan of that casual understated confidence look that is just there quietly getting on with it.:thumb2

I like the covert look as well Doug.
Ive always thought that a bit more thought and effort has gone into the installation if it's been kept discreet.
Not as perfectly hidden as yours, but here's mine....

Thanks guys, one of the reasons I went with synthetic rope is that it is easier to hide the alu hawse than the rollers. My aim is to keep it looking as standard as possible while still having things like the custom roof rack and rock sliders :thumb2
That's quite hard to see Daveyboy lurking in the shadows :lol

T-Doug, how do you access your winch? Does your numberplate hinge up?

Hiya mate, the plate is held in a rubber surround, just peels out. The clutch can be easily reached through the bumper, to plug the lead in and operate the isolator (when I fit it) requires lifting the bonnet but once done close bonnet and carry on :thumb2
You'll see it in action when I'm pulling Zac and Ian out of puddles :D

I look forward to it mate!!!! Can't wait for you to tug me off.... erm out :lol

You've done a top job there buddy, it's like a mix of BonesXU1's idea and your own rolled into one.

I'll certainly be trying to copy this when mine is ready to go on :naughty

Off Topic slightly and I hope it's not a secret, if so I'm about to blow it :hide:

Have you seen Ian's new wheels :naughty

What I would do differently is maybe mount it further forward so I didn't have to move the rad back, but would possibly poke through bumper. I think I might still have space to fit an air con rad in though but prob not a fan too.
I'm very pleased with it though and now I have a good welder and can use it I'm more relaxed about any alterations that may be needed.
Roof rack and rock sliders next, can't wait to start the rock sliders 'cos I'm putting hi-lift points in as the bottle jack struggles a bit now :lol

Sorry guys. Out on the lash at the min. Just thought I'd check in whilst having a jimmy riddle:lol
