Banshee has persuaded me to remove the man steps which I will do later in the week. I'll be in trouble then!

What a gorgeous sight to behold :naughty What was the length of your spacers mate? Elty and Craig needed 38mm but mine measured 45mm :nenau Hope I don't need them spun down again on the lathe but thats what mine measured when I checked the gap between box and chassis :nenau

Craig and Elt did agree that there could be differences between casts, mine is a ZF Lemforda box, what's yours? Does it have ZF stamped on the top?

I was worried my boy would struggle to get in after the springs went on but he hasn't noticed the difference, he's like a little spider monkey he is :lol I have to do sort of a sideways jump tho :doh

Mine are 38, purrrrfect fit for me today :thumb2, 7mm too long won't make a difference just make sure your bolts are long enough, I got 130mm but they weren't long enough with the washers on so I went and got some 150mm ones, M12, nylock nuts, very good

I'll tell you what though mate, it's a very very satisfying job to do :thumb2

I had a thought while I was laid under me truck today, it must be the extra blood to my head or sumnat :lol, do you want me to bring your steering mod stuff from Craig to the wales meet for you?, I bet the postage on that lot is a stinger eh?

Petrol diff install, had the rear in a while just need to swap the front to match!!

I've got a boiler swap in the morning, should be done for two if you want a lift out with it mate, I hear they are bit on the heavy side!!

Undo all the diff mounts for easier dissassembly .
Drive shafts take the most time, fiddly firkers

I find it easiest to drop it still fixed to the cross member, but down side is two of the 4 X member bolts have to be cut as will not come out, and replacements inserted from the front, but once done so much easier next time round like if you need to remove the engine, Rick
