id be a bit worried about the sound waves and vibration affecting the strength of the metal

All will be sound deadened and if it comes to it I'll mdf the roof but I'm hoping I don't have to go to those extremes ;)

Hopefully I'll be competing in the next few months so we'll see how well it holds up :thumb2

Bit more work done on the new box.
Started smoothing the port area etc.

Old setup is for sale If anyone's interested :thumb2

Whats your old setup like?

I need to hook myself up sound wise as ICE wise I've done nothing, not even swapped the standard Nissan CD Player :lol

Loud :D

Fits perfect in the mav boot too and has a lid over it so stuff can be put on top of it.

Don't really want to get rid as it really does sound awesome but her indoors has put her foot down and said if I want an 18 for the new box then the old one has to go to fund it.

Oh wow!!!! Thats a bit too big for me, I'm looking for something compact that will fit behind the passengers seat and the van guard :(

New box looks great:thumbs think you will need to add quite a bit of sound deadening to the roof skin tho as the sub will be unloading against it & without the deadening it'll flex like made I would think. What size is the box for 15" or 18" sub:augie other might not be keen on it but me it's a:thumbs:thumb2:thumb2

Plenty of deadening to go on, it flexes now so I e thought ahead lol.
The box is for an 18" sub :thumb2

Getting there!
Fibreglassed, fillered and started smoothing.

Been a while....

Took it too newquay on holiday for the week, 900 miles and £240 worth of diesel (not impressed.). Come to the conclusion the rear brakes are binding slightly so they need sorted.

Used the roof rack a few times, pretty handy :lol

Got bored and got the tyre pen out.

Fettled the exhaust before we went away as the tailpipe kept dropping, kept company by a 400+bhp camper van :thumb2

Did a bit more on the gauge pod

It's rubbish!

Not had time to look at the rear brakes yet but I'm hoping the slight drag off them is something to do with it.

Looking at a tuning box to with the hope the extra bit of power will contribute to it as I'll not need to keep dropping down gears etc.

It won't help but it shouldn't be that poor I know.
