hello all

just wanted to say a big thank you to Milner Off Road.

i thought it would make a change to say something positive about a supplier rather than slag them off.

i needed discs and pads for my Maverick, so i ordered wednesday, and they arrived today (friday) in central France.

fantastic service, but what about the local Ford garage ?

i shearded a rusted in slider pin whilst taking the calipers apart, and the local Ford garage has told me it will take a week to get me a new pin.

trouble is, the pin is part of a kit that costs €74 !

discs and pads from the Uk, 2 days.

slider pin €74 and at least a week...

living in France....????

thanks Milner

I have only used them a couple of times but had nothing to complain about either time.

pity they dont sell slider pins for the calipers :thumbs

i just got some bits of them in 2 days and the bird phoned up to tell me i needed 2 bearings and only bought 1. cant do the job with 1..

I have always found their service to be 1st class:thumb2

Have used Milners and have no complaints about my dealings with them.

cant someone send you a slider pin from a breaker over here. couple of days and a few quid ??????

i live localish to milners so they get quite used to me popping in and quizzing them about stuff and where i can get it if they dont stock it.
always been helpfull and prices are not too bad.:thumbs
saying that i have noticed that they dont stock as much stuff for the terrano now than a couple of years back.

i tracked down a scrapper Terrano about 30 miles down the road, and managed to get a slider pin for €5.

so all's well that ends well.
