Is it just me - thank God I am not colour blind ?
Ok so, I am from a Science background I have used Litmus Paper, an Optimeter, pH meter done reagent tests using Malachite Green etc but these urine test strips are pretty difficult to read & interpret for a Novice.
I did my sample this morning a 1-2 second immersion having peed half a pint in a clean glass , laid the strip on some bog roll to take up the excess then after the recommended wait of 1-2 minutes looked at the readings.
I concentrated on the Blood reading as the rest meant little to me. The blood section was a sort of insipid Urine Yellow a bit like the section on the left of the container but not quite the same, definitely not remotely Green nor yellow with black bits so I took it as a Neg reading.
The top row for Leucocytes in my case was a bright colour ( but forgotten what might have been Blue) but none of the colours on the container that were various shades of pale purple. The other negative readings were not really noted as with time the colours change due to the testing reagents seeping from the test strip.
Much harder than our Hot Tub test strips.lol
Might need to get an ANPR to run me through the test !
