Well I was sharing two keys over that time..
Mind you, the key was designed for opening the car too, which I stopped doing, when I fitted remote opening. So maybe the keys were tougher then:nenau.
Also as mentioned before, the early Mavs and Terranos did have a passenger door lock too, the later ones don't. Maybe the fitting of remote locking encouraged that.
I am under the belief that Nissan have been looking for little ways to reduce the build costs as the years go on.
Maybe later vehicles had less under body protection
Getting rid of the auto hubs and worse, the three grease nipples on the front prop shaft was criminal.
So when they do a face lift on a model, does this really mean it's a cost cutting exercise, or is that me being cynical ? :augie
