You can only imagine what other short cuts people have made in the past

The last guy did the place up two years ago, I have lost count of the rubbish jobs I have uncovered, suffice to say all the existing plumbing has been removed, I have never seen/found so much botched stuff and leaks galore, we had intended to keep some of it notably the toilets, but not now it is all being renewed, heating wise only the boiler is remaining (with mods) the over pressure discharge was a hose pipe laid in the boxing, had it discharged, boiling water would have gone over the disable WC!!!!!! I will take a pic of that tomorrow, as for the electrics, you would not believe, so yes we have had a lot more to sort than first expected, Rick

All that you can see of my gas outlet work to the appliances, I went out for my camera and upon returning all had been pushed back to the wall as I had given the OK as done, the boys can move quick when you do not want them to but not so quick when you do :doh

The other end, some appliances have no labels but as a guesstimate well over 100 Kw of power, just the two deep fat fryers are over 44 Kw

Rad on wall, it is very heavy and the bricks very hard and brittle, so had problems getting a good fixing, SDS was no good as it just broke the bricks up and fixings would not hold, so used my old method of sharpening TC bit to a sharp edge (like a metal twist bit) and using an ordinary hammer drill, much more time consuming but got clean bored holes that held

Did a couple of hours today in order to avoid problems on Monday morning as I am not an early starter, plumbed up this unit on wheels, they need to be able to move it in order to get access to the adjacent fryers for the weekly cleaning, so hot/cold and waste all on flexy pipes, plus electrics on Monday to supply the centre of kitchen fridges and freezers

The unit in its normal position, if it was fixed they would not have good access to the fryers, 2 tilers in today, but could not see what they had done! as opposed to the guy that did work in pic on post 187, that was his work in a day on his own, more Monday, Rick

No pics today, forgot me camera, lots going on though, I managed a lot of plumbing although most of it hidden, two weeks to go, it is going to be hard work to pull it all together by the 5th, but will give it a go, but sometimes things are out of my control like the tilers, they need to be done by the end of the week, but and it is at the moment a big but, Rick

In the roof space, I wanted to put a 450 diam bend here but 9 x 2 existing timbers would not allow
