By the way, it's like this...only with a seized engine

I've had quite a chuckle reading this thread. And Ryan I agree with the others you need to stay.

Well, I will probably stay then, don't mind the Mick being taken out of me or my soon to be European beauty,' my Volvo not Zenka':augie but don't want everyone being nasty :)

I have a fleet of motors at the mo,Mazda MX-5, Merc Vito camper van project, Ford Cortina project, Ford Maverick, yes you guessed it, project and my Trol , work in progress. Also off the road is the old Toyota Celica and my daughter's modified Triumph Herald and in for MOT our old faithful Ford Focus.
I've been on loads of forums for info on all the above and have really only settled on this one and the Aus patrol forum. The rest I have found to be so stuck up their own arses I left PDQ.
So Ryan, for banter and wise words , stay here for a bit, you know it makes sense.:thumbs
Just don't get a left hand drive one, the engine runs the wrong way and makes the car vibrate badly on UK roads :D

Yes, i don't like other forums, had a look at some and err no thanx, you go on, ask question(s) get answer and leave, no joke of random chit chat like here, the meriva owners club us chatty but not to this extent, think one guy mentioned he was getting a conservatory fitted and that's about it, mostly older folk on there:eek: but saying that, they liked the mods I done to the car:D

Will the starter motor fit differently? Pmsl :lol

This club is also the first point of contact for many members for even non car related things.
Help with computers, advice on cameras, phones, gadgets, women, health issues, family problems, insurance, good buys and offers, boats, caravans and camping. Not much on politics, thank goodness, unless in the jokes section.:lol
Not forgetting Briggies jokes, I wish we could...:lol:lol

When you think of all the threads on this site, they are not all 4x4 related.

Where else can you get advice at 1:00 am, come on Ryan, you have posted in the early hours, and some poor insomniac has usually replied within the hour:doh. Try that with your mobile phone:eek:
As you know, if I'm up, I usually look in, and there are still a few others on line too.

Maybe this thread should reads last thread in terrano ownership:augie

Well going to strip the Saab today with Zenka later on, dads taking us as he's going to be working on his rally astra. Which is near by, found out the car is going to the local fire department to this how the jaws of life are used to some kids on a school trip next week. It's a really high spec car, a vector SE so zenka and I are going to strip it good and proper:sly, but have been told after I remove things like roof rails, speakers etc, I need to put the panels back on fully so it's more realistic for the jaws of life.

Looking forward to stripping it:D

Hopefully some time this afternoon as she's working this morning

I used to break saabs stopped because there are hundreds of them all with same problem parts are really cheap eg headlights go for about £10.Good bits are seats especialy if leather and manual operation most end up in vw campers worth about £125 for the fronts
