I think kerosene is pretty cheap isn't it ?

Anyway how about 70% kero 30% veg ?

I'm thinking that amount of veg will be enough to lube the pump

Should work out pretty cheap, what ya think ?

People say neat it will, but with veg it burns just nice

Some people running modern vw and ford tdci on kero/svo mix for 7 years and 100k ...

I wouldn't chance it tho

Kero is not legal for road use

I would not consider kero for a road going engine as the pressures are to high for adequate lubrication of not just the pump but the injectors, bear in mind the needle in the injector is a very precise machined element, it takes around 2000 psi to lift the needle from its seat with virtually no leakage past the needle in its bore, running on poor lubricating kero will accelerate wear on this important high temperature component leading to its early failure, Rick
