Job for tomoz me thinks, was working most of today :D made £40, twice what I was expecting:naughty

Then it started raining :doh

But got 2 big batteries on standby for a Sh1t load of cranking :sly

The title of Ryan next thread in this section

"Starter Motor Needed" :lol:lol:lol

Have you cracked an injector yet ?
No idea what the green thing is :nenau

But is there when cranking god this is hard going less painful to lie on a bed of nails:augie

Bed of nails?
Hmmm, will have to try that, sounds better than Terrano ownership

Yes, fuel comes out when cranking

Wont be fuel cut off then hows ur glow plugs r they being powered also hows air filter :nenau

so you got fuel at the injector pipes, and you have tested the glow plugs, but when cranking do you have power at the glow plug links, cos if you have compression and injecting fuel at the right time with glowing plugs it must run, Rick

That I don't know, do the glowplugs usually stay on when cranking?

Ahh, that I didn't know, in guessing that's why theirs 2 relays?

Yep, one is the timer relay.
I've read through this again but still can't see where you say you have pressured fuel gushing forth from a cracked injector ? :nenau
If you'd made that clear some days ago then just think how far you'd have got by now?
Details mate , devil's in them and all that :thumbs

When the engine has started the GP's will stay on until the coolant temperature reaches ~40 deg C, all to do with CO emissions etc. none of witch is actually helpful to the running of the engine.

However with the relatively warm weather we have at the moment I would think that even if the GP's where not working at all, you should be able to start the engine after a moderately extended cranking. Might be a bit rough for the first 30 secs or so....

So.. my guess is there is no fuel getting in to the antichambers!
