the people who make the cherry smoke pot and the people who drive the escolade are selling it :lol

which is the odd one out ?

a landrover

a skoda

vd

answer ......... the landrover because you can get rid of the other two

i wounder how that white one would be down houndkirk road lol

most people I know who have freelanders lust after a disco or rangie :doh

That's because they want the higher reliability of the disco or rangie.:nenau

From their point of view they are right, so don't knock it :lol :lol :lol :lol

A friend of mine went to the car dealer, he said,

"Have you got a windscreen wiper for a Freelander"

Seems a fair swap to me, but the dealer wanted another fiver to go with it....:lol:lol

WARNING: This joke is not original, it has been adapted from an earlier Skoda joke.

tbh any model of 4x4 or car at that matter has banter

most of the mines better than yours is just banter (but you do get the odd one who isnt joking)

at the end of the day each 4x4 even the x5 if it has proper tyres on will go anywhere

i have a mate who has just bought a 10 plate 90 and he loves it but he will always acknowledge when any model appears to be good at going over hills

On another site I was a member of, the freelander was named 'Gaylander' that stuck with my wife cos thats what she now calls em.

As far as qualities go....My mate and I were on a shooting competition in the Welsh mountains, it was FFFFin steep and muddy, most of the competitors who had the correct vehicles set off driving to the top, after a short while my mate started the climb, we were shocked [at the time] to find several land rovers and Discovery's being coaxed out of the mud, we coasted past them, reaching the top with ease.....my mates vehicle..... LWB Ford Maverick...easy peasy...it's how they are driven :clap

thats very true most landy owners assume that as its a land rove they can drive it any where without a care for the conditions

the disco is a very good learner 4x4 no need to worry about transfer boxes etc and very cheap to repair if it does come a cropper and rolls over for a belly tickle

at the end of the day you you buy what you can afford to run and repair as said before some people slag jap stuff off on landrover forums as is visa versa on jap forums.Always take the i was comments with a pinch of salt nothing lasts forever with out constant tlc and attention as is 90% of threads on here and other forums we all tend to post because we have something wrong wish i was in the position that i could post well that was another year without something breaking
had landrovers had jap they all behaved differently loved them all sold a 91 disco last year that i used and abused still going strong as i found out yesterday as i got a police summons for speeding on Tong lane in leeds DVLA still has me registered as owner:doh
cheers ANDY

Last week I had a nice moment, when the snow was thick and before my clutch went. As I got to a set of traffic lights I noticed a very nice Range Rover Sport that had got stuck in not very deep snow, the driver was revving the bits off it and his very nice lady companion was trying to push, so as any gentleman would have done I pulled up along side and said to the woman , if I were you I,d tell him to get a proper one next time, then drove off. :lol Nice truck shame about his low profiles.

If you had a spare set of keys could you not go and get it and sell it again....?

What are the legal issues on this ? :nenau

The V5 document only says who the registered keeper is and not necessarily the owner. :thumb2

got a form to fill in and send back with the details of the person i sold it too and any other evidence as to why it was not me driving, got the change over letter somewhere?
