As usual people join a forum for advice etc and I was pointed here from a member of yours I met at the hospital in Newport.

He told me you guys could answer my question so here goes.

Sorry for my first post being a question asking for help.

Thanks all :thumb2

hello and welcome :thumb2 ...... short answer is yes , but may depend if its a facelift model perhaps , a maverick is a terrano with a different badge

'right butt :D
Welcome and yes :lol
Maverick and Terrano are exactly the same underneath the badges. There are a few cosmetic trim changes only. If you mean the drive light next to the headlight, they will fit but just in a slightly different position.

Hmm, drive lights, fog lights?? Are they different? The ones i've got are labelled up as Fog Lights.

Nice avatar by the way, been watching her for 10 minutes :D

Stop it :sly
So I assume the fog lights you've got are the little round ones next to the headlamps:rolleyes: If so then yes they'll fit.
If you put your truck model down on your signature then it'll save a lot of guessing:thumbs
Are you into some offroading? Team Wales always have a welcome in the sheep hills :D

Ignore him he's special needs.

He THINKS they are driving lights because thats what HE uses them for. :doh

Having said that, so do I :augie....they don't blind anyone but provide excellent edge-to-edge visibility at night on unlit roads.

But if you have the MkII Maverick with a single round headlight each side plus the smaller fog next to it, then yes they fit. Both the Mav and the Terrano came out of the same spanish factory with just a few cosmetic differences to freak the punters. The Ford grille was different and the plastic surround for the headlights puts the fogs in a slightly different position but they are the same bits.

welcome.

the lights will fit, but not the trim around them, as said before.

No mate not round ones, they're rectangular, marked up as Terrano II 2/93 onwards.

Basically selling a new set on some internet selling site somewhere and wanna be sure they're good for Maverick too.

Own a 4x4??? Bloody struggling to put fuel in a moped at the moment :D

mopeds are a bit like bran flakes ..... they have their uses and make sense to some people , but does anyone actually like them ? :augie

well if they are it will only be the MkI but no direct experience of such an old truck I'm afraid.

I got a Mk 1 Mav SWB and a LWB Mk 1 T2 and yes they are the same, Rick

Cheers guys for all the help.

Hope they sell now, trying to raise funds for my Spain tour in August on my moped. :D

Hi Admin. Trying to pm you but keep getting the message that I don't have access. Was going to ask if you would object to me putting a link to my ebay item on here somewhere?

Totally understand if it's a no as it's a paid membership forum.

Cheers :thumb2

Steve, welcome to mad house, was going to ask what sort of hospital btw...

pm are preserve of paid up membership.

guess if link to selling club related stuff ok

so sell stuff then join us.....you know you want to.

Very much appreciate the welcom Tom. Problem is that I feel a bit cheeky really. Didn't wanna come on here and advertise stuff to sell cos it's not the done thing for newbies to do on any forum without proper introductions etc.

Basically mate (and trying not to sound rude, or piss people off) my hobby is motorbikes, and i'm as passionate about them as you people are about 4x4's, each to their own and all that, so it's a bit pointless for me to join up.

The only thing I have remotely near a Terrano is a new boxed set of lamps that have been lying in my garage for years and i'm trying to sell them and some other stuff to raise enough for new bike tyres for my tour of the Pyrenees with 11 other bikers in August.

Anyway, I googled Terrano and found your forum hoping to get advise on the Terrano/Maverick thing, and your members came through in fine style.

I've avoided the temptation to put a link the lamps simply because - like i say - it's not the done thing for a newbie :thumb2

Many thanks to you and your members for all the friendly help :clap

If you wish to tell me to bog off i'll understand :D
