I tried to swap the sensor on mine and wish i never bothered, it all broke off and had to be drilled out with care. You might as well get a 2nd hand hub with a working sensor still in it and do the wheel bearing and ball joints whilst you're in the area.

my sensor was good,just the shot wiring.Didn't even attempt to remove the sensor as they have to be destroyed to get them out.
Have had to replace the wire on every terrano with ABS i have owned over the years.
 
Soldering and heat shrink tubing with adhesive inside is the best, but you can use crimp connectors if you fill them with silicon grease first but you still need the heat shrink, just make sure you slide it on before you do the join, two layers is best, Rick
