Have also found today that I have a small fuel leak coming from the solid pipes above the OSR ARB drop link. Is there any reason why I can't replace the corroded solid pipes with flexi, so long as it is of the correct specification and fixed properly ?

No reason what so ever, just get the appropriate size rubber fuel pipe and strap it well up out of the way ideally to where the original came from.

If your fuel pipes rusty it will be worth checking your clutch damper pipe. Mine failed the other day in exactly the same place

used 8mm copper, easy to do nflexible to position them where you want em.
