Looks like you got it spot on.:thumb2
The problem with mine was that someone had replaced the motor and also removed the wiper arms so put the whole system out of alignment.
The way I realigned it is to remove the wiper arms, remover the plastic trim under the windscreen and remove the metal cover plate above the motor.
Remove the arm from the motor (as mentioned you may have to remove the 4 bolts holding the motor to the bulk head in order to free the arm )
turn on the wipers to the lowest speed and listen for when the motor stops.
Turn off the ignition and replace the arm back onto the motor taking care not to drop the nut into the heater blower
. Nip up the nut hand tight and move the motor arm accurately to the 9 o clock position:thumb2. This is the park position where the wiper arms are at the furthest downward part of the motion. Tighten the nut.
If you haven’t got the 9 o clock position right, the wipers will flick the opposite way before they travel.:doh
Temporary attach the near side wiper in the park position and tighten. Turn on the ignition and operate the wiper on slow speed to see if you have got the 9 o clock park position correct. If not you will have to go back to the start and re adjust.
A bit of perseverance and it will come.
Oh yes - The reason why I mention about turning off the ignition is to prevent myself inadvertently leaving the wiper control on slow intermittent and chopping my fingers off whilst trying to adjust the motor arm in a confined space. :doh
