TtheT2, good to see it worked so well. I know I've said before I recomended it but I was waiting to see if anyone said the same re motor movers, youre bang on.

Our van is a large twin axle and we were looking at a motor mover and we realised the price!

pix are there in my gallery, but when i tried to swap /url for /img got little red crosses
instead of pictures in post. anyone tell me how to link pictures, not much of a mod am
i but not done on this newer site.

I assume if you just cut and paste the link T?

and pull yer finger out; we're gagging here!

yay! can you see 'em now?

T that link just goes to a blank explorer/firefox window...

Can't you just cut and paste the link from the address bar where you are looking at your pictures?

good or bad

Scott & Wildbri,

what a fantastic bit of kit, successfully propelled caravan out of garden and 100ft.
in to a turning area, unhitched car, turned it and rehitched as normal. Coming home
almost reverse, unhitched, turned car to use front ball, dragged 'van in turning space
then propelled turning 'van 45 degrees almost on spot (which is a big deal for 20' twin
axle then upthe 100ft yard of garages and into out garden positioning it perfectly on
an 8' wide drive of slabs.

Could NOT have done it without the front ball kit and reckon with more practice and
abley assisted by Alison as my spotter for the blind spots we have saved upwards of
a grand in a axle motor movers. Even a ball / jocky type at several hundred £s would
not have been so much fun or as satisfying.

BIG CHEERS Guys, definitely worth a drink or two next time see you.

Everyone else get one, well worth it and better than doing your back in with modern
caravans or trailers getting so heavy.

Feedback, it may be that wing nut was too tight, but when finished had locked itself,
perhaps done to forces of twisting a 1660kg t/a, pair of pliers soon loosened it and
had a racket drive for bolt head just in case!
Might not be such a bad thing it tightening uo because surely its better than it dropping out and your van coming away?

If that was to happen Mrs Thomas the terrano would without doubt kick my head in I presume?

bizarre, all 3 pix appear in your post. sounds like a job for a Bat, well the Bat...

When I check the link the picture info is that it is in GIF format and the picture size is 1 pixel x 1 Pixel. That is sort of tiny picture size,no wonder I can't see it!!

weird as pix are 600 or 700 wide, must be a privacy thing but cant see in CP how to
open up viewing hence asking about other peoples galleries here on this site.

Scott, mrs was really impressed, think till used was maybe just another fad but makes
you look so good as manouvering and agreed there was no way we would have twisted
van around using rear hitch, thinking what can do with cash saved on mover...
