What I really nice suprise, thought it was postman pat delivering new front bar, But nooo,
Its Scott at the door with it. Was in area and wanted to see it fitted, couple of minutes
it was on and then we got on with real task of putting world to rights over a cuppa!!

Thanks Scott, it really is even better than I expected and will get my spare jaw/ball onto
it later, leaving plug as only partially in as once in wont come out easily. Hope you got
some petrol on way home.

Scott, just been thinking have you got our cheque yet?

Paul.

hay scott you do free fitting for every one then??
i can put the kettle on..

Thanx Scott it & the switch came today..:thumb2

Am I safe to presume we have no problems with the first editions of the front tow hitches?

So far great, will be pushing van out of garden in morning and get some business for
you on the rally field. have mentioned on Central Off Road Club but no takers yet
which has a mixture of mitsi, landy and toyota owners, plus quite a few derbyshire
area of our members also.

Field Testing

Scott & Wildbri,

what a fantastic bit of kit, successfully propelled caravan out of garden and 100ft.
in to a turning area, unhitched car, turned it and rehitched as normal. Coming home
almost reverse, unhitched, turned car to use front ball, dragged 'van in turning space
then propelled turning 'van 45 degrees almost on spot (which is a big deal for 20' twin
axle then upthe 100ft yard of garages and into out garden positioning it perfectly on
an 8' wide drive of slabs.

Could NOT have done it without the front ball kit and reckon with more practice and
abley assisted by Alison as my spotter for the blind spots we have saved upwards of
a grand in a axle motor movers. Even a ball / jocky type at several hundred £s would
not have been so much fun or as satisfying.

BIG CHEERS Guys, definitely worth a drink or two next time see you.

Everyone else get one, well worth it and better than doing your back in with modern
caravans or trailers getting so heavy.

Feedback, it may be that wing nut was too tight, but when finished had locked itself,
perhaps done to forces of twisting a 1660kg t/a, pair of pliers soon loosened it and
had a racket drive for bolt head just in case!

Why, when I'm dying to see, am I getting a message saying I'm not a club member when I try to get those links? :(:(:(
