has anyone converted there terrano to a live axle? like front wheels able to get the same articulation as back?? can it be done?? looking to do this to mine at some point but probs no til @ least early nxt yr :(

can't get any inside detail or am i just being blonde now?
was meaning how much work what 2 use ect??

Just look at the pics available on google and the above links

Use a patrol c200 front

not for the feint hearted, mostly fabrication work and loads of problems to overcome

been done, mainly in other countries. Don't think anyone in the UK has done it.

Most people use patrol axles, But I think the front diff on the patrol axle needs to be flipped I think.

I looked into it and nearly had a go.

Yep, looks like thats what they do.

not enough time, Not got a garage to do it in.

All good while this weathers nice, but as soon as it changes I'd of given up on the project and cost me too much.

This may help you, Look in the builders section. Loads water jet cut stuff like suspension spring tops etc.

As above either buy a trol OR an easier way out is to buy a LOKKA for your existing diff. That way you don't need to worry about massive articulation. By the way you still wont get as much as the back anyway.

Personally I quite like waving wheels in the air. Looks quite dramatic but the rear limited slip diff usually keeps me moving.
