good, but agreed a front locker would give same sort of traction even with
wheel in air, plus retain better road handling associated with IFS.
 
Yep, Look at articulation vs locked diff on youtube.

But changing to a better axle also means you have strong setup capable of running bugger rubber.
 
It is eventually going to be an offroad vechile only so road handling at that point won't matter :D
 
I still argue that the work involved making a T2 live axled is a waste of time and money compared with 300 quid ish to get a LOKKA . You don't get that much articulation up front anyway so Lokka compensates for that giving drive to whichever wheel is on the ground.
T2 std diff easily takes the load of 35" tyres and all the extra power I'm pushing through them too :thumbs Stinky, I'd love to develop the maverick further but have seen the light and gone trol :naughty

Weld the front diff and keep the auto hubs is a lot cheaper and as far as I can see works just as well, Rick
