Jesus Rob!!!!! Fit it yourself, it really don't look that hard, I'd have done mine myself if it wasn't easier to just swap the diff over :sly

And what am I supposed to do if I get into bother? I have no garage at home and do most of my modding at my grandparents wee farm or in my mates workshop on his farm :nenau

I've read the instructions and I've got a reasonable idea of what I need to do but if it needs more than a working day I'm stuffed.

It's far less hassle to save up a little cash and drop it into the mechanic I use. He'll get it up on the lift and do it a lot more easily than I can.

Fair point, fast to criticise before knowing the full circumstances lol

Just pains me when I have to pay some knuckle headed retard bang over the odds to do a job I'm more than capable of doing myself

I know bro, I'm of the same view generally but you have to know your limits :(

Draglink seemed to be getting a bit sloppy so bought a replacement from Pedders. Fitted it yesterday :D

If you bring your old one to the Lakes, can't fekkkin' wait......
I'll have if off you and get it blasted and coated and refurbish mine:thumb2
I'll then have a spare to pass on
The bar should be good it'll only be the ends that had the slop in them.:thumb2

What a shame your new bar didn't gave the damper bracket/eye on it?
Or is it because the bar is adjustable?

Can do bud, I had to hacksaw off a bolt but you'll be putting new ends on anyway :thumb2

Damper bracket has to be separate bud so you can screw the draglink round for adjusting the length :thumb2 Bracket just bolts in place once you have the length - as my damper is rtc it made positioning the bracket pretty easy.

Rob looking at that last picture, I reckon you need to get that clean and get it Waxoyl'd, it's starting to rust in areas

It's been poked and prodded and is definitely just surface but I agree a rustproof is on the cards.

It's something I would like to try to do over the summer but I would quite like to go the whole shebang and get the underbody steam cleaned so I may have to arrange for it to be done professionally...

Just had a call from the garage... Lokka is all fitted :D

Pick her up on Saturday :)

Jealousy does not suit me :lol

Where did you get it from mate, and what brand of lokka is it?

It's a proper Lokka all the way from Oz bud :D

Mechanical, automatic and bulletproof :thumbs

Broke my factory rear locker a year ago so will be nice to have a locking axle again albeit the front now instead of the rear (not that it had held her back any!) :lol

Could it be true, $315=£240.30 delivered for my front axle  I bloody hope so :D

You know want to :sly

There's a few threads on here about fitting them in a Terrano, think Rick (Solarman) can possibly help with fitting.

I'll get my regular guy to fit it, it's gone up a few places on the list now though, I didn't know they were as cheap as that what a bargain, for the terrano anyway :thumb2

Nice :naughty

Looking forward to hearing how you get on with it.

Is it possible you could write about the pro's and cons you find with it as I thought it would be the one I would be interested in fitting myself but there's also something like the Detroit locker that someone is saying would be ideal for my truck.

If you could that would be cool :thumb2

Fitting to the T2 is not too bad but you may need alternative shim washers in order to get the clearance correct but Nissan could not supply so stuck them in the lathe and turned em down, but not so easy if you needed thicker ones, do not know about the Troll though, Rick
