It's just a road tread 265/70 so will be smaller than the kl71s (it was one of 2 new tyres put on Foxy by the dealer when I bought her). I one of my ATs got slashed on a rock last Wales trip so I had to take the AT off the spare.

Looking through my pics of the Wales weekend last year and found this side on pic... forgot what the Trol looked like when she had front and rear mud flaps and *cough* sidesteps! :augie :lol

Even the rears are gone now... was shocked at how much mud was stuck behind them, could have filled a good sized plant pot, why Nissan why! :doh

Looks good. Wish the y60 looked good without. I need to make some new ones for mine as it looks odd and I don't like the fact the rear wheels can spray shit up the front of our tintent

Cheers bud, quite pleased with the look :thumb2 like I said it was take them off now myself or wait until they got ripped off:rolleyes:

Your restoration thread is great by the way the 4.2 is going to look awesome once you've finished her. What you going to use for the new mud flaps?

Cheers Barrbeast:thumb2. Im not sure yet but I have thought of using something like you get on HGV's and cut to size. I would buy new Nissan one's but they cost a fortune:(

If the Y60 mud flaps are anything like the Y61 ones then they'll be ridiculously rigid :doh Just asking to be caught on something and ripped off :nenau

If you need to have them I reckon cutting up HGV ones is a good shout :thumb2

I haven't read all of the post:doh but if you need some Genuine Troll flaps let me know I probably have 2 sets kicking about somewhere:nenau

Yeh need to get the current spare off though as it's one of the road tyres I would be selling with the AT's so I can't be hanging about waiting on another bargain used mud coming up :nenau

Did see a used road tread with 5/6mm going for about £50/60 inc postage but it's had a repair so I'm not too keen.

These are the possible spares I've found:-

Marshal AT for £80 inc postage

Dunlop Grandtek about £85 inc postage

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321407843921?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Hankook Dynapro MT £92.50 inc postage

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121310856664?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Having thought about it again I reckon for the sake of £12.50 I might as well go for the Dynapro.

What do you think?

I have a veritable plethera of used mud and ht tyres....
the top ones mine.

Second down is 265 X... x 17 from the recent Troll alloy I bought.

every thing below that is 265/75/16 and for sale:thumb2

Essex to Wales takes me 4 hours @ 50mph - 60mph :thumbs

I wish Steve  :lol

Laning weekend isn't far away time wise, under two weeks, but it's almost an 800 mile round trip

We did a 1500 mile round trip to Scotland last year, towing our tin tent :augie

Bent my electric aerial a while ago and finally got to fitting a much more offroad suited replacement (only way to retract aerial before was to turn the stereo off :doh).

Used a mini whip as a replacement :D

Takes the same line as the electric one.
