I don't think anybody on here would want them, if their 4 wheel drive is working.
You could try the BMW site, for X3 and X5 owners though.:lol:lol:lol
Will be great for them to have traction in the snow.:lol:lol

Only an idiot selling his 4x4 just before the winter might consider them.:doh
Have you asked Ryan? :lol:lol:lol

Ryan, I told you we wouldn't have a dig at you because you own a Volvo, more a dig that you don't own a 4x4:lol:lol

Try Preloved, free site for new/used items.

I do remember one winter a few years ago, I was on a snow bound lane in my 2 wheel drive van, not stuck, just checking a water leak.
Any way, I heard this bloody racket of a noise coming along the lane, when I looked around the van, I was greeted with a Porsche cayenne being driven slowly by a woman and all 4 wheels had chains on :doh:lol:lol

Chains will work on ice. No tyres will unless they are studed

I have no problems in my Terry when on ice (no studs) and winter tyres are just fine too.
All depends on how you put the power down and how you drive.:thumbs

Shame you don't have any in 155/70 r13 or I'd of had a set:doh

Too expensive so has to go, not practical for me either, and want somthing thaty handles nicer and less like a wallowing pig, the Volvo's have a lowwer centre of grafity and are bigger too, need the space , also I'll have no problem with the snow in the Hyundai,, thin tries will cut through the snow, also got the weight over the front so will be good enough for any snow we get. Will be getting chains for it, but know where I'll be able to get offroad rally tires for it When auto-testing

Ice Road Truckers, drive mostly without chains. They only use them for hills.

You have changed your tune Ryan, not long ago, you would never sell Toby bla bla bla.
Now it's a wallowing pig :confused::confused:

i found ABS didn't work on ice, but works on snow tho

you dont want abs in snow as it will lock up the release roll over heaped up snow in front of tyre then start all over again with out abs in snow the heaped up snow will start to slow car as it will buildup more and more as long as u dont release the foot brake now i have opened a can of worms as some people will dissagree with this statment:eek:

Always has been a wallowing pig, but show me a 4X4 that's not:lol I've always considered getting a Volvo and now I'm just going to do it:D terrano isn't practical and I need more space for camping. As it'll sleep 2 people fine, the terrano struggled with just one because of the seating:(
