you dont want abs in snow as it will lock up the release roll over. heaped up snow in front of tyre then start all over again with out abs in snow the heaped up snow will start to slow car as it will buildup more and more as long as u dont release the foot brake now i have opened a can of worms as some people will dissagree with this statment
Dunno, was just going from experience, when I taken the meriva for a play on the snowy back road. over. Also tried it with the traction control turns on and off, when it's on and you boot it the wheels judder violently and the steering wheel kicks, but when off, it'll spin nicely without juddering
