Fitting a radio CD player

Hi - I've got a 2003 Terrano 2 with a radio cassette player - the weird 2xDIN height thing. I was wondering if its possible to get a coverplate such that I can fit a standard radio CD player?

Can it be done?

Whats required?

Does it effect the alarm? (since the alarm checks the radio code?)
