extreme camping... anyone else got one

Travelodge!!!! The ultimate yuck - full of weekend clubbers and swingers!

Used to drop into the Travellodge for a cuppa during nights. The night porter was a real nice bloke but very naive.

He couldn't understand at first why the same woman , always carrying a large hold all was there several nights a week with different blokes who wanted to pay cash, he worked out her profession but was always stuck on the holdall until he heard the words "spanky" and "mistress" in the same sentence...............honestly you couldn't make it up :lol

And they did nice breakfasts if you were when the day staff came on

LMAO! reminds me of the lad I got to know when i watched a smash and grab at the local hardware store at 3am.....he used to come round for a cuppa and one night i was in fits - he kept getting calls to attend a sheep drowning in the river but couldn't tear himself away from my porn stash, most of which ended up circulating the local nick! It was quality stuff too, inherited from a collector who'd travelled the world!!!!:lol:lol:lol

i remember once i stayed at one with a mate . we was working away see

we parked the van round the back in the carpark... and no kidding from the carpark you could see everything through this window

all the lights on curtains open even the window open wide and 2 professional looking ladies sharing a room and everything else.

funny we both looked and gasped in shock, then hurried off quick before they saw us looking

reading your earlier post, you wont be wanting the camping gear then, women, no sense of eventure, they are spoilt mate thats the trouble, bed & breakfast, hotels, etc, nothing wrong with a bit of rough, breakfast sitting on the ground, i can smell the bacon now,

She's get on well with my missus :thumb2............we were all set to take the caravan off onto a real basic site in the middle of nowhere, peace and quiet, beautiful countryside. Plenty of 12v leccy via the car and the caravan and then...................how will I work my hairdryers and straighteners comes the cry :doh

well folks....... looking at the weather today, it appears im going to be getting one of those big fat " i told you so"

maybe ill go for one of mr crupade's compromises
and book a travel lodge or something, on the condition we camp in a week or two


i just have to make it sound like her idea

Bad luck Col but I do think its a good compromise youre offering.

Plus tell her when you go to the Team Wales weekend in August (camping or not ) she can sit and talk to my missus amongst others and give us all a good slagging off..........very therapeutic for them :lol:lol:thumb2
