Ok,I've taken the liberty of contacting Leinster 4x4 to see if they could allow a bunch from the UK to use their forest tracks etc. I will post their reply when I get it. They do have an open day on October 4th which costs €10 and they have some fun stuff lined up. Pity it's such short notice. :(

<title>Re: Are visitors welcome?</title>[FONT=Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial]Hi Liam, all our welcome. We cater for all makes of jeep and driver! The normal guest fee is €60 for a jeep, however we are having an open day on Sunday 4th October where the fee is just €10. Have a look at our web site (www.leinster4x4.ie) where you can see a bit more about us. We are a young club which is growing the whole and our main goal is just to have fun safely.

All the best,

Looks like you have no excuse now,all you need to do is check the ferry cost. Going by where they are located, ferry into Rosslare is probably best for Team Wales and Adz, the rest of you could go from Holyhead to Dun Laoire. I had a look at their slideshow on the website, definitely something for everyone, even Extreme ,Makeitfit and Adz. Probably even have some slow and gentle for Mr Loveglove:D

Here's an even better reply from Leinster 4x4

Hi Liam,

Visitors are welcome. There is a day fee of €60 per 4x4. If there is a big group we could do a group discount depending on numbers, or if they are involved in a club in the uk we could arange something like a weekend in our forest for them, if our members could avail of a weekend offroading in the uk.

There are no requirements other than a bit of health and safety, there is a hotel 10 minutes from our forest, or they would be welcome to camp overnight and have a bbq. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Neil Murray

Looks like a trip will need to be planned, only downside will be the ferry cost. Of course there is always the worry of spending the weekend in a forest with Team Wales:eek:
