You know Rick i thought the very same when i was working on the spring mounts and wondered if they have contributed to damaging them.
Rather than have the progressive cushioning the standard ones offer these will just be a full on dead stop.
My reason for fitting these was to stop the wheel hitting the inner rear wheel arch on full articulation with the longer shocks fitted.
May have to revert back to the standard ones.

I was just about to type this!!!!

Looking great is that elty, got to admit that I think I may well of thrown the towel in if it had been my truck.

Cheers Jim:thumb2
I just can't seem to give up on the old thing:thumbs
If i can fix it i will.

I am in awe... amazing work..:thumb2:thumb2

I do have 1 question, why didn't you make the tube in the middle a bit longer, it could have worked great as a dislocation tube?

I was limited with the amount of tube i could scrounge in the right diameter.
Had an off cut at just under 100mm to do both sides so just made them like for like.
Have got dislocation cones fitted :thumb2

Bloody hell Elty you have been busy.
Excellent work.:clap

Most of it wasn't by choice:lol
I only set out to change a knackered wheel stud on the rear hub and noticed the crusty chassis.
Things escalated from that.

Been a while since I did anything other than maintenance work but had an itch that needed scratching.
Swing away jerry can holder.
