Yeah there is mate, its a tourist information type place. Plenty of space for a park up and theres a nice open space next to it aswell for dogs etc and to have a bit of a walk about, cant drive on that though lol

Caravan and tent pitches available for the weekend 9 / 10 April. SO WEEKEND MEET POSSIBLE.

doesnt mind a bit of a get together for the caravanners and a limited amount of guests .

Our prices are as follows: £15.00 for an electric pitch, £12.00 for a non electric pitch. These prices include 1 car, caravan and awning or 1 tent, 2 adults and 2 children. Extra adults £2 per person per night.

I think it best to book up so they know how many are coming.
you can have a chat with steve to find out if deposit required.
ask about gazebo`s ect. at the same time.
if you book in plenty of time perhaps you can all be together.

their is a £10 deposit for a weekend stay or a booked single night

at the moment he may be able to locate all members together

bbq's are fine as are gazebo's awnings etc

for members that are not staying on the site but would like to come on the site then he said a few additional motors shouldn't be a problem but he does not want a lot of people to be their that isnt staying overnight

I wrote in my first post.

if you want to do some easy green lanes there are quite a lot around the area.
I will run the lanes trips for anyone wanting to have a go.
if you dont want to risk scratching your own trucks then I am sure we will be able to find some spare seats.
Although you may have to ride in a Disco.lol.

Routes`ALL WILL BE CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO TRO`S ..
Athough there are a few that NCC have asked to be avoided at the moment due to being very wet and MUDDY.
Due to the uncertainty of April Showers:doh.Best decided nearer the weekend .There are enough suitable green lanes very close to meet point that are pleasant drive and hard surfaces.

The North Notts Route is also close by so plenty of options depending on what people want.
NIGHT DRIVE ANYONE.

If you go on multi map and put in Ollerton then click on Ordnance Survey Map.
it will give you an idea of how many lanes are in the area.

Ok chaps, I spoke with my mum yesterday (works at the Forest Corner Cafe). She says they will be happy for us all to turn up for breakfast (hell why wouldnt they be ).

She did say though if we are going to we will need to give them a heads up and an idea of what we will want so they can prep it for when we get there.

Let me know if we are defo going there and we can start to get some sort of list together or something.

if you are staying over there is plenty to do and see around the area.
ITS A MEET AND GREET WITH GREEN LANING AVAILABLE.
suitable for all ability's including beginner.


Meeting point is Tourist Information Centre CAR PARK A616 WORKSOP ROAD ON Ollerton Roundabout.
which is OPPOSITE to the Forest Corner Cafe.
Mc Donalds also on roundabout.
