got bridgestone duelers on the rear and hankook dynapro at's on the front.was hoping my mate was ready to part with his kuhmo mt's but he keeps making excuses as to why he's still got them.lets face it with a cracked piston and leaky water pump on his fourtrack you would think he would be snatching my hand off for the cash.but thats life i suppose. :?

had a brilliant day,despite the rain later on but it made it the last few lanes of the day great fun as there were endless amounts of very large puddles to splash in.thanks to everyone who came and made it a great day out.cant wait until next time.also very impressed with my t 2 off road for a lwb :smile: ,see you next time :smile: :smile:

PUDSEY CAME ALONG FOR THE RIDE AND MET MOST OF YOU IN THE CAR PARK BEFORE THE START OF THE DAY.
BETWEEN US WE RAISED £22 FOR CHILDREN IN NEED APPEAL .

pleased you all enjoyed the day out. it still comes as a shock when those imposing hills come into view,
DID YOU SEE THE SNOW ON THE VERY HIGH ONES
We drove up Leeside past the wood carving ,it felt like and indeed were climbing up the side of the hill, although it felt like a stair case at times.
Next came Hurstclough ln.
a steepish decent over rocks that need a little care due to the water running down the lane , so ist gear low box is the way forward.ducking under the low tree and then a sharp right turn and the lane then turns again only sharp left this time , the stream running along side looks fantastic with the sun glinting through the tree`s .
.Just the place where the fairies may live.
a little way further finds us back on tarmac.and heading for the next lane.
I WILL END THE TRIP HERE . if you would like to come along next time and experence GODS OWN COUNTRY keep an eye open for the next lanes day.

derbyshires Green Laning

A great day-out,

A big thanks to iandouglas, rbrt, elty001, and BigG for making it a fun day,

I recommend it to everyone, even if you have no experience of green laning, there loads of useful advice and help on hand, you shoudn't damage your pride and joy on these days (unless you want to!).
I was impressed the way the LWB terrano's with standard tyres coped with it all.

I must post a congrats to Wedge as he is only the 3rd terrano to drive the deviation on pindale .unfortunately before Big G could get a photo of him .
a bit slower next time ross.
once again well done .
ps.
for those not in the know the deviation consists of a steepish climb then an up and over and short nasty decent which leaves you with 3 wheels on the ground most of the way down, not always the same ones though .lots of trucks have come to grief there and i think our Tommo was one.blown half shaft.
