Sorry guys, I need to resurrect this...
The general consensus seems to be that before 2004, is OBD, after this is more of a Black art.
My 1999 T2, has the floating 14 pin grey socket connector under the dash, which fortunately makes life simple, and I know I need OBD.
I therefore purchased a "14 Pin Consult II OBD DDL USB Code Reader", loaded ECU talk, and got it working with my car...
Perfect. :clap:clap
Suz's 2001 T2, has the white 16 pin socket connector mounted in a metal bracket under the dash, so I purchased a 16 pin plug connector and made a converter... Nothing...
I removed the plug from the bracket to get a better look, and hers has a lot more wires, including the Pin 7 that has been mentioned...
So I take it, that despite hers being only a 2001, she has the later socket, that is not compatible with my reader.
So.... what do I need to read the codes from hers?
