Pretty sure i read on here that someone had replaced the fuel lines up to the bulkhead with fuel grade replacement lines.

Just left the diesel to settle in the bottle & rechecked it & I made a school boy error water sinks to the bottom not float to the top:doh but I think there maybe some water in it anyway cut the old filter open as I wanted to see what state it was inside & it was rather dirty so it might have been the cause but only time will tell:augie but couldn't see any signs of diesel bug in the filter which i'm pleased about

Yes the filter was in a bit of a state looked as if it had been dipped in muddy water so don't think it had been changed by the garage when I bought the truck. My wife said when I put my foot down in 2nd gear earlier on the truck felt a lot faster as she felt if she was getting pushed into the passenger seat
I'd just like to thank everyone for their help on this:thumbs:thumbs:thumbs Oh & Rick your idea of using a switch with wires to read the fault codes worked fantastic as I made one up last night & it also makes clearing the codes so easy to:thumbs
