Clutch Pedal not returning

Thanks for the advice.It may not be that serious, however we are here in England for four weeks so it might be a good idea to take it into a garage.
I am not mechanically minded so have to rely on others.
We will be in Chagford,Devon for next two weeks, does anyone know of a local garage in the area that are not rip off merchants who might be able to help.

Incidentally had a new spring fitted to the top of the pedal only two months ago as the other one snapped and fell off!!! So am not sure whether it is that that is stopping it returning.
As advised I have just had a good spray with WD40 so will see what happens.
At the moment every time I depress the pedal it springs back immediately, but that Usually the way things happen.

non return pedal has been on here . I think a lot of them have had the plastic bushes broke up . once replaced it has been fine
