Hi there,

Can someone please tell me what the best path to take to install the antenna cable in my Beast?

I am mounting the actual antenna on the upper rear post on the left hand side, above the light cluster.

Cheers.

I mounted a aerial on a bracket on the roof rails at the back. Then ran the cable down the tailgate aperture and looped it behind bumper before bringing the cable in up at the plastic kick strip. I looped it down so that any rain water would drop off before the cable came into the car.

I am using a PSM mount as on this page PSM Mount as I do not like having any of the cable on the outside, too many ruddy idiots where I live.

I was wondering how to run it down the inside of the pillar (or up) then either along the floor like you or up between the roof and the liner.

What do you think?

My cable ran down inside the tailgate shut cavity if you see what I mean. So only see a short six inch or so on the roof. Mines been fine for years only suffered when it came loose and wife trapped it in the door catch.
