just got up to go to work, and truck wont start, get all the dash lights, but wont turn over. any ideas?

Whats exact symptoms? What is immob light doing? Does the coil light come and go? Does she crank? :thumb2

all lights come on as normal, but wont crank, currently waiting for the RAC, but should have been at work now! it was fine last night :nenau

Hmm not sure buddy, I suspect either immob issue, or dodgy barrel, have you tried again? Perhaps giving the barrel a wiggle/holding in or at an angle ect?

Failing that pop headlights on and turn key, see if lights stay bright or very dim, then you know if battery is goosed.

as said previously ..... try wiggling the key in the barrel , what is the immob light doing ?

Was dirt in the connections for starter motor
As you have changed the battery recently, and not saying I know more that the guy who came out to you, but when you get a chance, have a look at the positive clamp connector on the battery. The clamps are a bit of a weird design, and they break fairly easily, but unless you look really closely, they look like everything is OK. It's only when you look really closely, you see that although the wire is held in place, it is not actually attached to the clamp, so makes a bad connection.

When I first got my T2, it was a bit random about starting, and it was only because I came across a post on here, as someone else was having starter issues, I saw the post about the clamps, and found mine was snapped.

Quick trip to Halfrauds, and a new clamp was in place, and "touch wood" not had a problem since.
