Can I read boost pressure and oil pressure via OBD2?

As title suggests, can I read boost pressure and oil pressure via OBD2?
I tried few days ago on cheap bluetooth and Torque - no success.
I need to know if I need to fit these sensors manually or can still extract data from ECU somehow.

I thought more specific title will give me answer As far as I found, I will need boost gauge with tube for boost, but not sure if TD27TI has oil pressure sensor fitted and if I can connect gauge to it...

The only analogue sensors on the 2.7TDi engine are, fuel temp, engine temp, and MAF.
All other sensors are either pulse output, NLS & CKP or switched, oil pressure.

What this means is to read boost pressure you will have to drill the manifold and fit a connector and hose and gauge, to read oil pressure you can get a "T" adaptor to screw into the hole the switch goes into and the switch screws into one hole and a pipe into the other in order to connect a gauge, Rick

That's the question - can I get digital data like oil temp via OBD2 on my Android device? Or is it only for ECU use?
I want to fit analogue sensor only as a last resort.

there are no sensors to read the data you require, Rick

Aye but it's not as accurate there. Mani is what the engine sees where as the actuator is pre intercooler etc

I never needed that and TBH don't really know it's use for me. But as I removed roof lining and want to fit few gauges above sun visor, I started thinking "what else an I stick there" way.
I don't want to remove roof lining anymore, want to fit all necessary gauges and forget about it. What gauges would you suggest me to stick there Rick?

All the gauge will show is a drop in pressure which could be anything from a slack hose clip, split pipe or intercooler to a turbo on it's way out:augie

It really comes down to what you want to keep a close eye on TBH, I've got boost & volt gauges in mine as I like to keep an eye on the turbo boost & at time try & drive with as little boost as I can, the volt gauge is there because i've had alternators either under or over charge on a couple of cars but you can often tell if you have a cell dropping off on the battery by the pre start voltage the gauge shows Might fit oil pressure & temp gauges yet or something else not made up my mind yet:lol

If you plan to mod the engine for more power :doh for your 33s/35s then I'd get an EGT, Turbo Boost, and Oil temp/pressure

Because shit can happen Last month I by accident found that I got 1/2 inch wide gap in air intake manifold gasket. And month before that I found that oil pressure (apparently) was so high that it blew oil seal and started pushing oil up to the turbo.
Things were fixed, and I know that retro-fitting these gauges will not help, but it still may be a good idea to monitor potential bottle necks.
And yes, voltage gauge will help to keep an eye on alternator.
