Right, changed the air filter the other day and removed the MAF and tapped out any loose bits. I did want to remove the sensor itself but it seems you need a special tool!
There's two torx type screws which hold the sensor to the MAF housing, but, there's a pin in the centre of each screw which prevents any normal torx driver to be used.
Any ideas? Or where can I get a special driver bit thing.
Also, it's deffo a Bosch MAF, and It needs some attention as I'm still geting serious lag/drop-off when accelerating! How much is the sensor and apart from cleaning with electrical contact spray stuff, what's the alternative?
