Black Pearl body building

Just doing some re-fettling of the old battle scars.
New owner is keen to get body work done so we've been at it with hammer, filler and paint. Don't worry it will be black again
The old stone chip paint wasn't really man enough, so the inside is now sprayed with black hammerite.

Arch extensions getting a bit of the old smooth paste

I did explain these are the first pretty bits to come a cropper :lol

It's never going to be a show stopper but it's looking pretty already. This is an isolator coat . It's also handy for showing up the odd bits of filler still needing work.

Sorry Pete never rated Hammerite at all, used it many times and steer well clear now, Rick

like rick do not like hammer,but good old red lead,mind you do not know if you can get it now,we used it on under water on steel hulls when i was in merchant navy also all topside painted,then colour of choise,with no probs.

Still used in steel yards, was looking at several 25 ltr cans of it the other day when getting some more steel, Rick

I'll bare that in mind for my Trol project, soon to be started
This job is one I'm really just helping the new owner.
He's a local guy, so I'll get to see the ware and tear happening
Mean while, another job done is the belly pan refitted
