Whats the best bit of advise you have had?

one of mine must be the thumbs out tip, When steering off road keep your thumb on the same side of the wheel as your fingers, That means if your wheels hit somthing hard your thumb doesn't get wrenched when the wheel spins!

and

"If in doubt... Don't!"

and

Always check before you drive through anything. IE walk it first. Don't go in blind. or follow some one else.. let them get STUCK!! first..

Much as your later ones

"If in doubt...get out" - and have a look

also

"As slow as possible and as fast as necessary"

oh and of course

"Don't go out alone" - despite what some might think, personally I think this is key unless you're somewhere you know absolutely 100% and even then only if you're not too faraway from civilisation etc incase the worst happens.

All of the above!! but the one i remember is when coming to a sharp crest take it at an angle not straight on,if you can.
I got grounded at Peas Farm but i couldn't take it at an angle so got stuck high and dry!!:nenau:lol
Took an agressive looking Paj to pull me off!:augie:thumbs:sly

When negotiating ruts don't fight with the steering. Let the ruts steer you unless theres something obvious you need to avoid.

Also keep your hands in the car when driving. One in my party on our latest greenlane day tried to push something out of the way and the vehicle he was driving moved forward. He ended up in hospital and required 36 stitches to his finger which got snagged on whatever he was trying to move.
