Great fun, Could have done with a SWB, more ground clearance and no bull bar, I do have A/Ts fitted but are a bit on the lower side of tread.

No honest, a very good day out.

Will book a B+B another time in the summer and have a weekend away.

Mav.

good photo mick, if you book a B&B in summer to do it again I'll try and make it then m8.

Gates???? What gates........... thanks to JonathanM's good lady for moving them swinging things and Dinky for putting them back after I went through.

From a beginners point of view I HAD A BRILL DAY and now I have a good idea of what my motor can do.

Many thanks again to JonathanM for leading the way and giving lots of good advice which was taken, and Dinky for being patient behind me, oh yes and for feeding Murphy.

And thanks to Cameraman for doing the routes.

Cheers all.

Funny, innit? I didn't notice any gates either.

It was a great day. Thanks to all involved in organising the day and leading the groups (and especially BigBadWulf who led our group) . I met several members for the first time. I had a successful car-boot sale in the corner of the car-park we met in. I didn't get stuck at all today - though I did manage to whack the towbar on a shortcut that we took on the way home - down Roych Clough (I think it's a lot easier going up than down).

I even learned something new about my long wheelbase Patrol. It *will* fit down Monksfield - without undue difficulty, providing you exercise just a little care and take the right-angled corners as wide as you can.

Looking forward to the next laning day.

Cheers
Andrew

By the way Mav nice to meet you!!
Wondered how you would get down the first little cliff face Andy took us down 8O Even had onlookers when we was there!!
