Front end rebuilt but not adjusted yet. New bearings, new top n bottom ball joints, new super strong steering rose joints new shocks and some more black paint :cool:


The business end looking nearly there ish


Anyway time to roll her out so the red one can be rebuilt. Turns out my son has caught the 4x4 bug :eek: Over exposure to the Black Pearl has made him "NEEEED" some 4x4 action.
So a night out on the mud

and in with the red one :rolleyes:

3 hours and a few pizzas later it was done.

Not got anything done this week on the Pearl BUT some goodies have arrived :thumb2

Early stages of the fuel tank, it's been folded and ready for first welds :D

Replacement rear shocks as the ones I got in stock last year turned out to be wrong uns .

That should do it nicely :)

Phwar, s/s braided brake lines with, check it, some red :cool:

Bit of a party weekend coming up so Monday it is for more action :naughty

Front end Wednesday :thumb2 New steering damper done. New rose joints and outer ball joints done.

Pretty much all the bits that were on the floor are now on the truck :thumbs
Then look at this bit of gash :eek:
Gearbox loom had a fix in the past by someone :nenau

Quick fix using my little heat shrink solder thingies :D

New brake lines on. New rear shocks on. Assortred details done.
Sunroof drains reworked out the floor :thumbs

Day off so thought it time to catch up with some detailing and assorted loose ends.
UJs greased, breather pipes secured and fuel lines all clipped in ready.
Little bit of brake pipe needed o/s front.

There's lovely :rolleyes:

O/S hub assy all done bar the bump stop.

N/S done too, spot the bling :D

New handbrake cables while I'm at it :doh
I'd revived the old ones but what the hell, everything else is top notch :rolleyes:

Fuel lines secured.

Zorst is back on but decided some extra bracketry would be wise. So modified some clips to suit :p

Bracket made from some box section, welded on ready.

and another slightly bigger on near the front

Hope to get this bad boy on tomorrow :clap

Whats the story with that skid plate, is it for a maverano or ofc summat else?
