any ideas on code 11 ? ? driving me mad now

hi chaps until a few weeks ago never worried about the trusty t2 2.7tdi but over these past few weeks i has been hell first off code 34 and 47.

i thought id change the fuel filter yesterday and cleared the faults and only 47 came back .

i thought result just waitng on one too arrive and i thought sorted on ckp sensor to replace.

went out for a short drive this evening a gave the truck a bit of stick !!

all of a sudden the mil light flicks on and the truck starts surging at cruise speed then when lifting off throttle the revs stay up at where i took my foot off the throttle then it falls back down again.

no stalling at all

so when i pulled up at home i read the codes as per the download workshop section

three codes came up 11,34,47

this is driving me mad now before long the truck will be crushed :doh


once the ckp sensor arrives i'll be changing first and formost to see if the problem is sorted

when changing the fuel filter the manual pump on top of the of the filter goes hard and the truck starts without fail.

ive had no starting issues at all

any suggestions guys

most likely its still the CKP sensor causing the issue. Fails when warm, hence MiL after giving it some stick.

but your spot on the problems only ever seem to occur when the truck has warmed up

i can get a brand new ckp sensor from eurocarparts for £67 inc vat and a no1 injector for £80

which i thins a fair price

wow is urs a bosch system or the zexl and both items from eurocarparts

that's very cheap, I hope they are the correct parts, although I suspect the CKP will be wrong, as I had loads of quotes around that price, but was the wrong connector...

cant be bad me thinks i'll change all the 3 parts for brand new ones
eventually.

the injector should be 125 plus vat

That maf is not an original part, I reckon you'll need to make use of the warranty.

If it was me I'd buy an OEM part for peace of mind.
