you could be right. the engine check light will always be on with ignition on, so if it isnt, there you go, I suspect you will find a code or two and get pointed in the right direction...

Ok, done the check with the Mil light, and found error code 55.......Guess what that is........No Fault Found !

Back to Sq 1 i guess, although it does so there are no other faults on the truck, its just not helping me with this one.

does it smoke or is it clear

No smoke, runs fine, its just when its under load at low revs. im almost ready to..............................................send it to the garage!

ohhhh.......last resort mate!!!!

dont pay them to diagnose it.

I have to admit though, I am a bit stumped..I wonder if it is a fuelling issue still? Air in the system still?have you rechecked the primer on the fuel filter? it might be worth removing the fuel filter, if not already fill it with diesel, put back on and you shouldnt have to prime it much if at all, then start the car.

I just cant see how its the pedal, its electric and would almost certainly throw a code.

have you checked your ground wires? theres one that attaches behind the battery to the inner wing, look under the cable, is it worn and rusty? Mine was, couldnt tell unless you tuned the cable over.

check the two small ground wires that attach to the engine block, I believe one or both are ground wires for the pedal!
