2008 Rally Weekend of 25th 26th 27th July

Hi all, Have you been to Wicksteed Mont?, It covers a very large area.

I have spoke to the main man at Wicksteed this week on the phone and theres no problems.
We have our own space.
Only thing is everything is going to be very busy.
Before we have had everything to ourselfs, May have to be up early to get a shower.
With the volkswagen camper show and car boot we will have loads to do and adds to our weekend.

I should be there on early Friday as well, not sure if the VW camper vans are there on Saturday and Sunday only.

Were looking for somewhere halfway from the 20th,looks like it will be Lightwater Valley park near Ripon,then mosey on down on the 25th for the rally.
Not heading back north till the following weekend,so got 6 days down there somewhere to fill.
Tempted to go to London as the Red Bull air race is on the 2nd and 3rd!!

Hello Gego,

Tell them at the gate that your with the Nissan club rally and we can walk across and pay in one hit saves everyone queuing up at the office with different amounts, Plus to get the discounted wristband they have to be purchase in bulk, (minimum of 20 i think)

Spoke to George again today and got the VW club e-mail address, May just get in touch with them as its there first rally.

Apparently they have no idea how many are coming to there rally.

Has anyone got a gas stove we can borrow just to keep the kettle boiled for hot drinks outside of the caravan,
I am sure we can get a gas cylinder or if some one has a cylinder we can replace the gas bottle.

Twin ring if possible.

Unfortunately, due to a change in family circumstances, i dont think i am going to be able to make it either (but i am still working on it), but as i am a known rain magnet perhaps it is for the best :lol:
