Very true, Although I find the bigger the group the less fun it can sometimes be.

I'd be happy enough to run a larger group on strata and NYM. But thinking about happy valley as an option.

Also on the cards is to drive a private lane, Which I hope to get permission to drive. Nothing special but links to lower claerwen nicely.

Agreed smaller groups are more fun :D
I might also have a bit of private land avail for the more adventurous :naughty

Sounding sexy

How many of those going have a CB?

I have and I know exosteve has,r1cho has one but don't know about the rest.
have got ye olde hand held I could bring along as a spare for anyone or just so we can have a good laugh at how dated it looks.:lol

me and rob (barrbeast) are probably going to wild camp fri & sat night. If anyone would like to join?

Getting excited already :D

I've got a Midland portable CB with a speaker mike and a kit to plug it into the 12v socket and power a wee external mag mount aerial i have for it. Worked fine last year but before I come down to Wales I'm gonna pick up a proper car one (nothing too fancy) and mount a larger whip aerial on the spare bullbar mounting point, Aussie style :thumbs

Woodlands is a nice campsite elty, I stayed there last time, just watch out for the midgies as it's next to a wee burn and there were swarms of them last year!

tidy! Hoping for similar weather we had last year. Although the flies were a pain!

I wont be wild camping either. I want me big tent, laptop, electric, cumfy bed,big fat sleeping bag, and the kitchen sink.

thought you sorted a roof tent for your trynsalviania trip rob. that's not wild camping.:augie

undecided which site yet.but not the same as last year.nice to be walking distance to the town, big flat open spaces.

but there was some permanent pikey settlers on there that were a bit of a nuisence

:lol I have a roof tent but haven't modded my roofrack to be able to use it! :doh (thinking about moving it on to be honest as my pop-up tent's just as easy to use!)

You bringing the family again bud?
