    Engine will not rev

If you do have a spare MAF I could use that would be great.

    Engine will not rev

Its my fault for buying a cheaper 'OEM' one rather than paying for a genuine part. Lesson learned. Yes it is a Bosch one I took off.

    Engine will not rev

Thanks for the replies, I unplugged the MAF yesterday and started it. It revved fine and there was no loss of power. Looks like I have picked up a duff MAF. I will try the paper clip method and see exactly what it is before investing in another MAF.

    Power steering pipes

I am looking for a set of power steering pipes. I have a leak and I can't trace where it is coming from. Also my pas belt snapped (pump didn't seize just an old belt that perished) and I can't figure out how to change it! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

    4x4 Mode

Thanks for the advice, I noticed it was awkward to get back into 2h and I had to reverse then go forward slightly. As suggested it looks like the transmission did wind up. There are limited instructions on the back of the sun visor yes.

    4x4 Mode

It was on a hard surface as I had just driven in on snow covered roads. Right ok, my mistake there! I will ensure I put it back in 2H before doing that again.

    4x4 Mode

When I am 4H mode I notice a lot of creaking and banging when going round a sharp corner at low speed. It also seams an effort to keep the Terrano moving doing this. It almost sounds like something is about to break, is this normal? I also find reversing in 4H mode is also difficult. Any...

No idea when it was done to be honest so I will do that for peace of mind. Just seams strange these noises only appear after travelling a few miles when everything is wam.

    Grinding/Rubbing Noise from rear

I have had a look underneath. Nothing obvious getting caught. Drive shafts do have some slight play in the them. Not a wheel bearing/braking issue I don't think. Would a diff oil change be an idea just to rule that out?
